Rocket is a lovely rabbit. I'm sorry he has passed.
ReplyDeleteHi Fredamans we were heartbroken when the fox got him, he did settle down but still had that wanderlust.. I believe that when gotten hold by a larger creature Rabbits die suddenly of shock...I hope that was the case.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't bear to get another Rabbit after that.
Thanks for your kind comments,
Di xx

Rocket was beautiful, and sounds like he was fun and well loved. My girls loved Peter Rabbit too. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHi Su-sie..We still laugh about our naughty rabbit, he was getting doddery so it was little wonder the fox got him!

Rocket was particularly loved for his mischievous ways, even my husband loved him, despite the merry dance he led him whilst I was away.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately there is not a happy end ! Must have been hard to loose him !
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling rabbit. I'm so sorry he passed. I've loved rabbits all my life, and I was devastated when our rabbit died a few years ago. Now we have another, and she's living in comfort (or, alternately, tearing the carpet).
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
I did remembrance day too
ReplyDeleteHello Gattina,
ReplyDeleteWe were very sad to lose him, despite his escape attempts he was a very lovable pet,

Samurai Frog:
ReplyDeleteRabbits can make lovely pets but not for very young children, particularly when they have to be fed and cleaned every day. Rocket used to come in the house until he chewed through the sound system cables, good job it was disconnected at the time, he had the free run of the garden so why he had to escape to pastures new I don't know why?
best wishes,
Di x
I didn't have any pets for years, because the loss was too traumatic. But The aughter wanted cats, so we have cats.
ReplyDeleteHello Roger,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the trauma of losing our beloved pets. We've had 4 rabbits and they all lived longer than the expected age (around 5). So sad to lose Rocket to a nasty fox though!
We have a gorgeous cat called Chloe, she's 13 now but dashes around like a two year old, that is, when awake she's awake !
Happy weekend to you and yours,
Di. xx
