Since the death of my dear sister Norma I still find it difficult to concentrate on writing, when I'm feeling sad I try to think of my Favourite things.... Of course this will bring to mind the wonderful scene in the movie of The Sound Of Music where the legendary Julie Andrews sang to the 'Von Trapp' children, whilst there was a fearsome thunderstorm......

My favourite fireplace, where I sit in my comfy reclining chair, usually with Chloe Cat sitting on my lap, whilst I tap away on the keyboard.

Wonderful post for the letter F, Di. The Beetles were one of my favorite all time bands. I can still sing all the words to several of their songs. The first time I stood on the shores of the Mersey river with my friends who were part of a band we all broke out in song and sang Ferry Cross the Mersey! A favorite memory of mine that your post brought to the forefront of my brain! Praying for continued comfort from God at the loss of your dear sister...

Fantastic post - I saw The Beatles on Ed Sullivan and was in love! We actually had a group of 4 boys at school who made up a pseudo Beatles band and they played at the dances we had. Good memories!

The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies, and I love the song "My Favorite Things" too. Although loosing a loved one is not easy, you have certainly found a positive way to cope with it. Blessings, my friend.
